Calligraphies

Ink or watercolour on paper, 50x70cm, from 2013, work in progress

Arriving at the studio from the office or from home, I need a transition, a sort of ritual to tune into the studio work. 
For this purpose I make three marks on three sheets of paper. I work with ink or liquid watercolor, using my left and right hand. The marks on the paper are both an expression of my state of mind and a feedback to it. Although they are not actual characters I call them calligraphies.
